Teach English in Madrid is one in a lifetime opportunity. If you are wondering what it feels like to live in Europe or if you are considering giving yourself some time to think about what path in life you want to follow, going to Spain for a while might be a good idea for you.
Before you get stuck in life things and fill your agenda with obligations, taxes and payments, why don’t you take some time for yourself and enjoy some time abroad? I did it and my life was forever changed.
Whether you have a true calling for teaching or you just want some time away from home to learn about another culture, travel around Europe and meet some incredible people, teaching English in Madrid might be the perfect next step.
Coming from the United States and finding a job in Spain is tricky if you don’t have a Visa.
Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to live and work in Spain. There are two ways:
Teach English in Madrid to Children
Personally, this is my favorite. It’s easy to apply for a job through the Ministry of Education in Spain and teach English in Madrid next year. Click here for a guide to help you go through the process.
If you want to know what teaching English in a School is like, you can read about it here.
Teach English to Adults
If you prefer to teach English to adults in Spain, I would recommend that you sign up for a TEFL course. There are many options and sometimes they guarantee a job in an academy after you complete the course.
Stop hesitating and get ready to embark in a year that you’ll always remember.
