Anyway, at this supermarket, they not only sell organic food. Here you can get Kombucha, vitamins, chemical-free deodorants, detergents, shampoos, etc. Take a walk to your closest Herbolario Navarro and explore it yourself.


Ecocentro – Organic supermarket

Ecocentro is an organic store located in Chamberi neighborhood. If that’s kind of far from where you are, you can shop online too and get it delivered.

At Ecocentro, they sell much more than just organic food. There’s a restaurant with a delicious vegetarian buffet, and they also do home delivery.

You can enroll in some of their classes and conferences they hold every now and then. Check their webpage for more details.

La Magdalena de Proust

This organic bakery in Madrid sells bread and other tasty baked goods. You can also buy organic eggs, cereal and grains among other things.

They advocate for a more sustainable lifestyle and root for environmental sustainability. They take pride in their 0 km philosophy. All their products come from within the region to reduce the carbon footprint.

They have two spots in the city. The closest to the center is the one in Chueca.

Apart from their excellent organic food, you can take cooking classes to take your cooking to the next level.

They work with local providers to reduce their environmental impact. They sell only Spanish products and they don’t import from other countries.

There are more than 20 of these organic stores in Spain.

In this supermarket, you’ll find fruit, vegetables, eggs, meat and other chemical-free products like detergents, toilet paper, conditioner and a few other items.

Pepita&Grano sells products in bulk. Take your own bags and buy only what you need.

Matadero Farmers’ Market

This organic market in Madrid takes place the last weekend of the month. Farmers from the region set their stands up once a month to sell some of the freshest organic products in the city.

When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
